No rehearsal, no sheet music, no discussion beforehand.

Jacob Collier stood in front of a whole orchestra and started giving different notes and short parts to each group of instruments.

It looked like he was just having fun with the musicians. One note here, one harmony there, then some drums, some horns, some strings. Then the whole room started to understand each other.

I liked watching it because I could see a piece of music being built right there, through the back-and-forth reactions on stage.

Moments like this are really fun to watch. They make live performance feel very hard to replace.
