Why I'm Moving from Codex to Claude Code

I'm mostly maintaining my work. I did create a few websites, but most of the time I just maintain like 4-5 at a time. Most of the time I need Codex for computer-use tasks and some automation stuff. I don't do one-shot generation stuff.

I used Luna xhigh/max as my main driver depending on the task, and Sol med for blockers, troubleshooting and fixing stuff.

But after 6.1 Terra came out, computer use with Luna got nerfed to hell on a lot of the tasks I normally used it for, and now I need to use Terra. So I don't think I have much reason to stay.

Not to mention Opus 5.5 is insanely smart, uses less of the limit, and gets more work done. I believe Claude + free ChatGPT is enough for my research. I'm moving to Claude, just using both to finish the transfer. If you're hesitant, just get both for now. Yes, your files are still on your PC, but it's easier to run both while transferring to Claude.
